FTOÉ is looking for volunteers!

Fair Trade Ottawa Équitable is a little organization with a lot of heart. We’re currently looking to expand our team so that we can be even more effective at doing fair trade education and advocacy in Ottawa and beyond!

On Sunday, March 10th, we are holding a volunteer orientation session for interested volunteers at the Main branch of the Ottawa Public Library. The session will run from 2pm-3:30pm. (For more info on the session itself, you can keep an eye on the Facebook event page.)

Our volunteers do a wide variety of tasks, such as:

  • Meeting with City Hall reps
  • Posting to social media
  • Doing presentations at schools
  • Keeping track of who sells fair trade products
  • Reaching out to community groups
  • Giving out fair trade literature at events
  • A whole slew of other things!

If you’ve got a little spare time and a desire to make a real difference, volunteering with FTOÉ just might be exactly what you need!

To apply as a volunteer, please complete the volunteer application form and we will contact you as soon as possible.
