The People and the Olive with Centretown Movies

On Friday July 26 FTOE is partnering up with Engineers Without Borders and Centretown Movies to bring to you The People and the Olive. We will be offering Fair Trade coffee from Bridgehead, Fair Trade organic chocolate from Cocoa Camino and samples of Fair Trade olive oil courtesy of Ten Thousand Villages. On top of this, Ten Thousand Villages has 200 coupons available for $2 off a bottle of Fair Trade olive oil form the Ottawa stores.

The People and the Olive is “an inspiring documentary about the daily joys and struggles of Palestinian fair trade farmers and the American ultra-marathoners who ran across the West Bank planting olive trees and bridging cultures along the way.” For more information about the movie, please visit their website.
